Medicare and Healthcare for all
People have been struggling to get good healthcare coverage. Both parties, Democrat and Republican, are looking out for special interest groups and not the people. As your State Representative, I will fight for Medicare for all so all Michiganders have quality healthcare.
Free College for Michigan High School Graduates
All Michigan high school graduates should be able to attend Michigan colleges and universities so they can earn a degree. This grows Michigan’s skilled workforce and increases our state’s education level.
Homeless Shelters and Resources
Washtenaw County has a major homeless population and the only overnight homeless shelter is in the Delonis Center in Ann Arbor, and it’s not even open full time. We need another shelter for our homeless population and more resources for the existing ones. We need dedicated social workers and staff that can assist with securing housing, jobs, and substance abuse issues.
